ABOUT THE AUTHOR
When Joshua Ford writes, he aims for stories rooted in emotion. His debut novel The Chronicles of BillyBobJoeJoe is a Young Adult Fiction rooted in an eccentric and fun narration style intended to bring comfort even when the stakes are high and characters are without hope.
Mental health is very important to Ford, as he knows all too well about the downward spiral of depression and the constricting nature of anxiety. Ford wants his readers to know their lives are important to him and there's always a place for them. Even if those places are filled with uncertainty, pain or fear, you still belong and deserve to enjoy the little things that make you happy.
The Chronicles of BillyBobJoeJoe is Ford’s debut novel, but he’s been telling stories for as long as he can remember. He originally created BillyBobJoeJoe when he was in 5th grade at a Montessori school, where his teachers always encouraged the flurry of stories he created. He spent several years working for his hometown newspaper before getting back into creative writing and publishing A Story of The Batman — a not-for-profit Digital Motion Comic.
When he’s not writing, Ford is most likely watching women’s basketball (go Liberty!) or spending time with his brother/best friend Caleb.
